goodness, that drawing on the right made me tear up! my husband (who has a striking resemblance to the men in your drawings) and i are seven months pregnant and thinking daily of when we'll finally see our little baby's face! i don't know how you meant it, but that's how it made me feel. i LOVE all the art you've done for taproot--it's hanging all over our house--and we'll be hanging your "build me a house in the woods" print just as soon as it arrives! love from a big big fan in kansas! i lived that little life for a bit... i was a single mama with my baby girl living in a yurt overlooking the pacific ocean. shucking peas on the front steps. she's now nineteen and nearly ready for front steps of her own ♥
